Totty Watch: Libertits edition.

TB was warned by a concerned friend, apparently in the know, that he is on "thin ice" with his defence of Ralph Buckle. Well hopefully this won't get him into further trouble.

Libertas
, a party with a more coherent and stronger eurosceptic position that the Conservatives, in case you were wondering, have hired Page 3 girl Amy Diamond who apparently is very concerned about the over burdening European super state:
Now there's a way for a minor party to get attention.

But Libertas AREN'T a Euro-sceptic party. Read their site and their policy platform and you'll find they are actually more enthusiasticly pro-EU than most of the mainstream parties.

They are simply choosing to lead with a pro-reform platform, saying that the EU is needed, that it's a good idea but that it is wasteful, over-bureaucratised and undemocratic. They propose to change that.

With different mood music, Libertas are Lib Dems.

Thin ice? Is this the "power to the people" (sorry, power to the party) that Dave is promising?

Anyway, thank you for keeping us abreast of this development.

I hope this doesn't inspire Labour women everywhere to take their clothes off. Nobody wants to see Jacqui Smith's kebab...

Bear you're mad if you think Libertas are Euro-sceptic.

They're a pan-european party, right? The biggest strike against the EU is that it tries to legislate similar policies over vastly different countries and regions.

Well a pan-European party will just exacerbate that problem...

It's a disgrace that anyone sees it as Eurosceptic
