I mean really, it's hardly like an unsuspecting individual will wander in whilst a fellow is having a cigarette, is it?DGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06144347543667242514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787283052819380346.post-77094267693630653142009-03-19T21:34:00.000Z2009-03-19T21:34:00.000ZExcept it isn't against the law unless the booth i...Except it isn't against the law unless the booth is inside an Aids orphanage

Idiots.

I was in Germany today. A broken bus shelter, with no roof so basically a piece of glass/plastic functioning as a sort of wall with a bench attached. It wasnt that it had a no-smoking sticker, but a council employee was sticking a fresh one on to it. To add amusement ot this, a guy sitting on the bench smoking asked said employee if he was going to tell him off 'No, not my job', then he asked when they were goign to fix the shelter (put new roof on) - answer, it can't be fixed it needs replacing - when, dunno not my job - so why put a sticker on a shelter that actually no longer constitutes a building - "people have started smoking in it and we've had complaints" - how can we be in a wall was a question neither of us could be bothered to ask. Aaah bureaucracy and efficient uses of public moneyDarren G Lillekerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00870644282739147878noreply@blogger.com
