I have to say - as a debate to bring the political blogosphere to the attention of the wider public, it was disappointing on both sides.

It just came off as a squabble between two personalities, rather than a debate about the issues and merits of political writing.

Best bet to sort these two out is to stick 'em in a cage and let them fight it out properly, rather than bitchslap on a TV show.

Not impressed, all told. I can't see it massively increasing traffic to the political blogosphere, sadly.
