I've not read the article - I refuse to add (even slightly) to the grauniad's statpr0n.

However, it's interesting that the left are so rattled they'll use the word 'madrasa' as a term of abuse - suggesting indoctrination or brainwashing (in this case a finishing school for right-wing terrorists). It seems even islamic appeasement is secondary to trying to dig up dirt on their opponents!

Just as an aside: The precise origins of the "conservative madrasa" term comes from YBF's 4th conference when Iain Dale was talking to David Davis ahead of Davis giving a speech to the conference later that day. They were talking about YBF's work and I was stood with them trying not to let my hangover get the better of me when Iain coined the term as a joke. Davis then used the line in his speech later and since then it's been doing the rounds for years.

Very fond memories of that conference. Ah, those were the days...

Beyond the public arena, privately it is known that whatever the polls and the news media try to suggest, the Conservatives are still well on track for a reasonable-to-good overall post-election majority.

The Lefties (who comprise much of the media, and esp. the Guardian and Mirror) are becoming frantic, and will subvert their own publications to the express aim of hurting the Conservatives as much as they can.

Believe me: if Martians came to visit, that story would be relegated to an inner page: their own political agenda is far more important to them.

However, in reality there is little harm they can now do, as their credibility (and readership) is dwindling, especially The Mirror. The Independent and Guardian have been struggling too, despite the latter's enormous "tax break" (reported elsewhere, I think by Guido). Their influence is fading...
