Blue screen of death....

Apologies for the lack of blogging today. Here's why...

I saw that blue screen once... new hard drive was needed. Luckily it was the work laptop.

Make sure you have installed Service Pack 3 as the primary cause of this was resolved in SP3

Is that on Vista. I had a similar message regularly. Got fed up and back to XP, much quicker and more stable

If you can get in to Windows at all try uninstalling Zone Alarm.

I have, throughout my years as a self-confessed techno-phobe, become a master at the wonderous technique for fixing computers known as "the birmingham screwdriver". Make a fist with your hand, and on the count of three slam it hard into the computer. Doesn't usually solve the problem of those pesky computer gremlins but my God does it make you feel better!
