That's why it is essential that all of us should have an input into these reforms as affects the whole membership.

Can I also remind you all that in order for a reform to be implemented it needs to go through three stages: firstly it needs to agreed by the NME, secondly it needs to be agreed by the CF Constitutional Committee (Mark Clarke, Conor Burns and Craig Cox) and thirdly the party board have to approve it.

If it does go through the first two stages (which is highly unlikely unless it bypasses the second stage) then a petition to Dom Porter would probably be an appropriate cause of action.

I believe that the reforms needs clarification and discussion thus an announcement from our National Chairman Michael Rock would be a good first step.Clare Hilleynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787283052819380346.post-87322674443629970652008-09-04T15:25:00.000+01:002008-09-04T15:25:00.000+01:00Hi everyone, I have been in communication with Chr...Hi everyone, I have been in communication with Christian May, and he has assured me that his proposals have been misrepresented/changed. Rather
than replace the area chairmen, the team of elected regional coordinators would replace the NME.

In my opinion this is a far better idea than replacing the Area Chairmen, although I am not sure that any real difference will be achieved through this specific reform until more is revealed. Any reform needs to address the chronic lack of communication and equally should be focused on getting CF the reasources it actualy needs from the central party.Paulnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787283052819380346.post-30040497913682221512008-09-04T13:31:00.000+01:002008-09-04T13:31:00.000+01:00These reforms are not only poorly planned and comm...These reforms are not only poorly planned and communicated, they will be a complete disaster for Conservative Future.
