You mention in your most recent article the need for ruthless cuts in public spending. As one who likes to think he has given you a few pointers on public speaking over the years, might I suggest you mete out much the same treatment to the use of the phrase "kind of" in the middle of your sentences?
I assure you that should you do so, your performance will be improved further still!
Shame - you should have turned that moment into one of those Sky News-style adverts with a squiggly line.
