Brown is destroying Parliament - Literally.

It is often said that this Labour government has no respect for the constitution, conventions or institutions of this country. Their utter contempt for Parliament has manifested itself through bypassing, unprecedented whipping and on occasion a complete disregard for it's authority. Fitting then that their leader has absolutely zero physical

respect
for it either then:
TB has had issues with Alan Duncan in the past but it was he has done well to call this out today.

Donal Blaney pointed this out months ago after a tour of the House. It really is charcteristic of our utterly inadequate PM.

I disagree, it's pretty clear that Brown uses the black marker because he has poor eyesight, the same reason why his notes are in large font.

To make an issue out of something that is more than likely the result of a disability would be in dubious taste indeed. I think the Tories would be better to leave this well alone.

Much better to make an issue out of the other things like the fact Brown's a fucking liar for instance

@ The Boiling Frog: The issue isn't that Brown uses a black marker pen - that is obviously something he has to do to compensate for his lack of sight, but that he allegedly marks the despatch box with it. The pen is needed, the damage isn't.
