Vote Blue, Go Green

Why have the Conservatives been so quiet on Alan Johnson's declaration of war on science? For a party that claims to believe in freedom and a desire to defeat the deficit, shouldn't ending prohibition be something actively considered?

Who cares if Cameron smoked up a few years ago, if anything it gives him more authority to discuss these matters than someone who hasn't. Brown's desperate attempts to reach the ARGH "skunk weed" middle England crowd should not be emulated.

Legalise and tax it.

Hmmm... you were going so well until you said "tax it".

Conservatives being quiet?
Chris Grayling: “This was an inevitable decision after his latest ill-judged contribution to the debate but it is a sign of lack of focus at the Home Office that it didn’t act sooner given that he has done this before.”

TB, please stop being so partisan, you know full well that the one nation career tories that have bubbled up to the top of the shit heap will never legalise/liberalise drugs. Not only are they too concerned about Blairite spin, they can barely keep the Cornerstone Group nutcases at Heel as it is. If they even contemplated legalisation half the party'd be cuddling up to Farage's delightful grin before you could say 'daily mail'

No, no and thrice no. I've got a local man who drives to my house, phones me when he's there, I pop out and jump in the back of the car - have a chat about the weather or cheese or something - job done. It's easier than getting beer from my local shop and the price has been inflation proof for years. Legalize it? That would be beastly.

sooner or later they will realise cannabis users are a HUGE voting block. Do a post on exactly how many people the pot head army is, and maybe DC will prick his ears up. It is in millions, so not even a minority in the truest sense of the word. Yet look at all the attention other groups get from politicians.

TORY BEAR, by educating Cameron you will be helping them, us, and yourself. Fight for this cause as it is just. Thanks for this post but keep them coming PLEASE. We need a voice.

The rest of the world has caught on, why do you think Obama made marijuana "not a priority for law enforcement" last month? We are the many, not the few.

Also, it is a FACT, that if binge drinkers were encouraged to stay hoome and smoke weed at the weekend, the hospitals would be less full on a friday night, more lives wouldn't end in alcohol fuelled tragedy, and BRITAIN WOULD BE FAR GREATER. DC shouldn't just legalise it, he should endorse it when compared to alcohol.
