Legg Lobs the Grenade

TB is busy trawling the Legg report. Live updates
here
.

Again just weeks before the general election, expenses are back dominating the news agenda. Looks like today's bell tower is going to be the Viggers flag pole. TB would rather we paid for all of our public servants to display the Union flag outside their publicly funded home than they were given food and TVs.

This is not the end of the expenses crisis, however hard the MPs want it to be. This comes to an end when the country gets to make their judgement on their representatives.

Personally, I don't even think it will end then. Every MP will now be subject to much more rigorous scrutiny. I think this will rumble on forever.

Yawn.

Why not talk about something important, like Lansley's office getting funding from private healthcare?

nice, is that a view shared by all labour activists?

Expenses aren't important?

Perhaps they should all be made to have a flagpole and rigging in their front garden, with a union flag proudly shown - perhaps that will remind them who they are supposed to represent. No doubt some interfering harperson would object though.

Some of them deserve to have a flag pole administered where the sun don't shine .... just to bring home to them how the electorate feels about their 'mistaken' claims.
