Ouch...

A CCHQ insider emails regarding the defection of Beaumont-Bott:

"She was the most ineffective, self-serving, divisive and immature person I ever had to work with. She was only ever interested in whichever spotlight she could get to point in her direction. Today, it seems that's the Labour Party, and they're welcome to her."

The equivalent of getting dumped by your girlfriend and saying: "Yeah I never liked her anyway."

@Anonymous

If you reckon your relationship with your political party is romantic, I feel very sorry for you.

No, hoon. The equivalent of getting dumped by your girlfriend and saying: "Thank God for that".

That's the gist I would think. Yeah, that's it.

The fact she defected to a party the ideological opposite of the Conservatives over a single, cross-party issues shows how lucky we are to see her go.

She clearly never believed a word of what this party stands for and was using it for her own purposes.

Good riddance.

The main question here should be, when was Anastasia ever a "politician"!? She was on the CF exec for a few months, hardly a position of great value, and ran away from that when people found out what she's like. Ideally someone would write something detailing how little of the two effective defection stories that have popped up in the Mirror recently are little more than vindictive bitching. We need a running timer until ABB is removed from Labour.

TB – I am sure you will recall that Anastasia was originally part of the CF4B slate, whilst Adele entered the election as a Forward Together candidate.

So the moral of the story is that I think Tom Wales and Matthew Richardson are to blame for all this.

Come on, if she was doing well and won the General Election for us, you guys wouldn't be bickering like schoolgirls.

Leave her alone; she's canny hot, don't you think...?

Oy! Don't blame me! CF4B never aim to be a "slate" (forward together was one and we were inevitably compared to it). Instead, we planned to support candidates that clearly pledged to represent Britain beyond the M25.

If I had known what I had learnt by the time that ABB's actions basically broke up CF4B's efforts I would never have trusted the girl or allowed CF4B to support her.

You can blame me for falling victim of the girl's weasel-words, yes, but please don't blame me for the selfish, destructive and downright horrid actions of the girl.

Lets hope that she rises to become a Labour MP one day. She could very well destroy her new adopted party one day in the future.
