People should get their facts straight before banding spurious and contrived rumours around. If you all made an effort to get to know Craig, or at least speak to him, Im sure that you would be convinced of his potential to galvanise CF into a meaningful wing of the party once again.
Anon @ Anon, sorry but we all know Craig's past. He might be a decent guy but he never proved to be a good NME member, nor has he behaviour in the name of the party always been good. Ben Howlett is the only man for the job.
I have to say that I'm endlessly surprised by the number of people who pitch up at hustings in London pubs expecting them to be a model of sobriety and restraint.
As far as I could tell on Friday, Cox had the right strategy - let the other two argue over who emailed what to whom and make some vaguely sound points about the NUS being a wast of time.

eh, he has what 3 mp's? that's not a bounce but an inevitability.
What a joke that hustings was, Howlett and Cox should be ashamed.
How can we have a CF chair who the NUS will ban under no platform? So if he visits Campus it will be a circus, sorry nice bloke but damaged goods.
Can you ask Harriet to run for CF chair?
