Not just that he looks a twat but to have an incompetent idiot like that in charge of our armed forces is treachery of the highest order. He has not the faintest idea of what the forces do or believe, they are just numbers on a piece of paper and are costing us money.
I assume that the flak-jacket was to stop 'friendly' fire because he would not be allowed near the enemy and only had his own troops to fear!

More importantly, if you showed the next 5 seconds you'll see both soldiers lower their salute and both shake hands with Brown. He may have looked silly to begin with, but not as ridiculous as you look reporting propagandist nonsense as fact. Some things don't change...

How is life under the LibDems? Just screaming like a child won't help. I am quite happy to be proven wrong, but TB is misrepresenting this event and while fun, isn't really more than propagandist immaturity.

Mr Brown should have at least have read the body language of others before jumping in and making a fool of himself with his whopping faux-passes (as proven in other video clips too)
No wonder other world leaders walk all over him. He really should accept constructive criticism to avoid making more embarrassment for himself in future (if he has one).
And we have plenty of Conservative Councilors here now thank you very much. The Limp Dems lost big-time and didn't even bother to canvas in this ward at the last election. Mr Andrew George was poison for them thanks to his daughter living rent free in his London flat.
